Let’s break this down. 

1. The video. 

I edited the video on top down to the important stuff, if you want to (re)watch. 

When the question “never have I ever dated someone that another band member dated” is asked, Luke looks straight at Ashton. Ashton makes a conscious effort not to look at Luke but eventually does. And then Luke makes the most nervous giggle ever. Ashton was about to say something, started with “hum” and then laughed with Luke. Only that just say a lot. It is the reaction of two people who share a secret. So they share a secret linked to this question, whatever that secret might be.

If you look at the other boys, Mike is like straight out ‘no’ and Calum, even if he thinks about it, doesn’t react like Lashton at all. 

Ashton says “maybe” and drink, and Luke drinks too, while looking at him. (cue sexual tenstion)

Michael and Calum are confused about it and ask what it means. While Luke tries to make himself the smallest possible (like it will work, you giant…), and tries to avoid any eye contact, Ash keeps shrugging and repeating “I don’t know”. At one point he start a sentence with ’we’ but then completely cut himself off. 

There’s a big moment of awkward tension, where they know they’re on camera and that’s not the place, but Malum definitely has questions, and Lashton definitely has a secret. 

When the last question comes “did you lied ?”, Ashton states after a quarter of second that he lied “to most of his answers”. I think that was a way to completely invalid what he said earlier, especially on the  “never have I ever dated someone that another band member dated” question. My guess is that Ashton wanted to lie at the question at first, but when Luke laughed, it sold them away. So they drank, but refuse to say anything more. Given the awkwardness afterwards, when Ashton saw a way to get out, by saying he lied, he jumped on it. 

And you can see it in Luke eyes, the way he was like “what do you mean???” and had his mouth agape, then he understands. But Luke’s answer is interesting too. He says “I was truthful, when I was comfortable.”  There’s no way it would have been more comfortable for him to drink to that question rather than not. Which means, he was honest. 

(Bonus points for Ashton’s laugh when he see Luke drink to the nude question)

So. What is the secret? I don’t know. But given the question, I’d say it’s pretty intimate. And my threesome joke might not be that much of a joke after all…  What do you say?

2. The tweet. 

Several people have already address their feeling towards this tweet and I may not have mush more to add. But here are my thoughts.

This interview is a year and a half old! A year and a half… How relevant could it still be? Youngblood wasn’t even out! Why would Luke care so long after? Also Luke is supposed to be chilling int Vietnam with his mother and his girlfriend, why would be care now? Finally some said that he wasn’t even tagged in the tweet, but I can’t verify that because the original tweet was already deleted when I saw it. That mean Luke would have to actually search for it, and once again, why would he do that? 

You see what I mean? That’s not typical Luke. However, it’s typical Sierra.

And honestly, she needs to give less attention to what social medias says on her. I know it’s easier said that done, but still. Something tells me that if she was so pissed about this interview resurfacing, it wasn’t that much about the rumors on her and Ashton (because they have been around for a long time and never that much loud, and even quite dyeing lately), but maybe it’s more due to the fact that it brought Lashton chemsitry / moment / past / story / proof (whatever you want call it). Yeah I don’t think she’s a Lashton fan.. I wonder why 🙄
